Tyler Ragland grew up in Oviedo, Florida, where he developed an early familiarity with the construction industry, often spotting contractor names on equipment as his father, Brett, drove between job sites.

He joined Johnson & Company in 2017, after graduating from the University of Central Florida with a degree in General Business. Over the past nine years, he has developed into a trusted advisor to contractors across Florida, specializing in surety bonding.

Tyler works closely with contractors to evaluate financial strength, maximize bonding capacity, and position their businesses for sustainable growth. He partners with contractors, CPAs, and surety underwriters to proactively address challenges and create long-term solutions, not just place bonds.

Known for his responsiveness and practical approach, he focuses on helping contractors strengthen their operations to win more work and achieve their long-term goals. He takes a relationship-driven approach to his work, prioritizing trust and long-term consistency over one-time transactions.

He is an active member of industry associations including FTBA, FSA, NASBP, and AGC and currently serves on the ABC Central Florida Government Affairs Committee.

Tyler lives in College Park with his wife, Makenzie, and their growing family.
